Glip provides Administrators access to enable or disable the company's telephony settings right from the Glip web and desktop app.

Once this feature has been enabled, Users will be able to perform the following on Glip Mobile:

• Make and receive phone calls
• Manage active calls (mute, transfer, flip, park)
• Send and receive text messages
• View call logs
• Play voicemails

IMPORTANT: Users must log in to Glip using their RingCentral credentials in order to use the telephony features of Glip.

After logging in to Glip Mobile, Users will see the What's New screen. Tap CONTINUE.

Making phone calls

Tap the More menu.

Tap the More menu.


Tap Phone.

NOTE: Users who tap the Phone tab for the first time will be prompted to set up an emergency or E911 address to place an outbound call.

To change the Outbound Caller ID, tap the down arrow, then select from the available numbers.

Receiving phone calls

When there is an incoming call, the incoming call screen appears as follows. Tap the Answer button to receive the call. You may also tap the Voicemail button to send the call directly to your voicemail.

Tap the More menu.

Tap the More menu.


Tap Inbox.

Tap Inbox.


Tap New Glip Message.

Tap New Glip Message.


Enter the names or email addresses of your message recipients in the space provided.

Receiving text messages

To check your messages, tap the More menu.

Tap the More menu.


When you have message/s, a number will be visible to let you know how many message/s you have received. Tap Inbox.

There are 4 tabs available in your Inbox — All, Direct, Teams, Favorites. The All tab displays all direct messages you have received from individuals, teams, or favorites.

You can open your new message right from the All tab, or from any of the other tabs. Tap the new message to view it.

The Phone menu has 3 tabs — All Calls, Missed, and Voicemail. Tap Missed to view only the missed calls, or Voicemail to view only your Voicemails.

Tap the Delete button on the upper right corner of the screen to clear your call history.

Tap to open the voicemail that needs to be played.

The voicemail is automatically played back. You can pause the playback or adjust the volume.

You can also send a message or call the contact who left the voicemail. You may also delete the voicemail.
