RingCentral Meetings: Unable to join meeting before Host

 

1. If the Meeting Host has another meeting in session, then other Participants will not be able to start the scheduled meeting. If Participants are joining via the RingCentral Meetings for Desktop or Mobile App, they will see the message "The host has another meeting in progress" until the Host joins.

NOTE: To prevent abuse or fraudulent use of Meeting license, Host is not permitted to have two meetings running simultaneously.

2. If RingCentral Rooms and the Host are not in same account, then RingCentral Rooms will not be able to start the meeting.

3. A meeting can be set to allow Participants to join via phone and start the meeting before the Host. However, if the Host is in another meeting, Participants can join but will not be able to start the meeting. Participants will only hear the hold music until the Host joins.
