SummaryRingCentral Meetings allow Hosts and Co-hosts to create breakout rooms that split off from the original Meeting. Follow the steps below to enable Breakout Rooms and Co-hosts.

RingCentral Meetings - Breakout Rooms | Co-hosts can add/moderate


To allow co-hosts to add and moderate breakout rooms you will need to enable:
1. Enable Co-hosts
2. Enable Breakout Rooms
 

Enable Co-hosts


1.  Go to Tools > Meetings.

2. Go to Meetings > In Meetings (Basic).

3. Enable Co-hosts by clicking the button on the right. (Image shows enabled Co-host).

When a host or co-hosts join a breakout room, they both have moderator privileges in the breakout room. The host has additional "breakout room management" privileges. When they return to the main session, they resume their roles as host and co-host.

Co-hosts
• Start / Stop Breakout room
• Hosts Controls
• View Attendee list
• Assign User
• Move users between breakout rooms
• Broadcast Message
• Join / leave any breakout room
• Hosts Controls
• View Attendee list

 

 



Enable Breakout Rooms


1.  Go to Tools > Meetings.

2. Go to Meetings > In Meetings (Advanced).

3. Enable Breakout Rooms by clicking the button on the right. (Image shows enabled Breakout room)

NOTE: Remote Support must be disabled to enable Breakout Rooms.
