Summary​RingCentral Meetings allows you to record or enable Automatic recording in your online account. The Record button will appear on your In-Meetings Dashboard when enabled.

​This feature is OFF by default. Account Administrators can enable this feature account-wide and for Users. Users can also enable this in their own Extension Settings.

RingCentral Meetings - Recording


Enable Recording account-wide

1. Go to Tools > Meetings > Meetings Settings.

2. Click the Recording tab.

3. You can enable either or both the following:

• Local recording  
• Automatic recording

Enable Recording in your own Extension Settings

1. Go to Settings > Meetings.

2. Click the Recording tab.

3. You can enable either or both the following:

• Local recording  
• Automatic recording
  

Enable Recording extension
 

How it works when enabled

• When Local recording is enabledyou can click Pause or Stop Recording on the In-Meetings Dashboard. When stopped, the recorded file will be converted to an .mp4 file and be saved locally.
When Automatic recording is enabled, the meeting will be recorded automatically as it starts.
