SummaryAs a Host, you can request permission from a Participant to let you control his or her camera. A Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) camera is required on the Participant's end to enjoy this feature.

​This feature is OFF by default. Account Administrators can enable this feature account-wide and for Users. Users can also enable this in their own Extension Settings.

Enable Far end Camera Control account-wide

1. Go to Tools > Meetings > Meetings Settings.

2. Scroll down to In Meeting (Advanced) and enable Far end camera control​.

Enable Far end Camera Control in your own Extension Settings

1. Go to Settings > Meetings.

2. Scroll down to In Meeting (Advanced) and enable Far end camera control​.

How it works when enabled

The Host can hover on the selected Participant's tile, click on the More button and then select Request Camera Control

With this setting enabled, the Host can request permission from the Participant to control his or her camera.

When the Participant gives permission to the Host, the Host can control the Participant's camera with the navigational controls at the bottom right of the Meetings screen.. 
 
When the Participant gives permission to the Host, the Host can control the Participant's camera. Here is how the Meetings screen looks like.
