SummaryHosts can put a Participant on hold. The Participant “on hold” can't hear any audio from the meeting nor see any video or content sharing, until the Host takes the Participant off hold. If the Participant on hold left and rejoined the meeting, he won't be on hold anymore.

​This feature is OFF by default. Account Administrators can enable this feature account-wide and for Users. Users can also enable this in their own Extension Settings.

Enable Allow Host to put Attendee on hold account-wide

1. Go to Tools > Meetings > Meetings Settings.

2. Scroll down to In Meeting (Basic) and enable Allow host to put attendee on hold.

Enable Allow Host to put Attendee on hold in your own Extension Settings

1. Go to Settings > Meetings.

2. Scroll down to In Meeting (Basic) and enable Allow host to put attendee on hold.

How it works when enabled

This setting enables the Host to put someone on hold during a Meeting. The Participant who is placed on hold will be unable to hear any audio from the Meeting nor see any video nor any content shared. The Put On Hold menu will not be visible when this setting is disabled.
