How to resolve when Personal Meeting (PMID) is already in use
By default, Users and Administrators can set their own custom Personal Meeting ID (PMID).
• User sets their desired PMID and encounters an error saying that the PMID is already in use.
• User sets their desired PMID to their own direct Digital Line (DL) and encounters an error saying that the PMID is already in use, even if it is their own phone number.
• A PMID that is already in use by another User cannot be freed up. The information as to who or which User is using the PMID cannot be disclosed, since this is a CPNI violation.
• PMIDs and phone numbers are not directly associated. Ownership of a number does not mean you can reserve your own PMID.
Select another number as your PMID.
