How to Request FTP/TTL Configured

1. Part of the Business Requirement Deck (BRD) completion required to start the contact center implementation is the decision to to record calls or not.

a. If you choose not to record calls, then you don’t have to worry about data storage piling which will result to being billed additional data storage if you go beyond the inclusive data storage of 1 GB per license.

b. If you choose to record calls and want to avoid being charged additional data storage, then you need to pick from the following options:
(Click on the Results and Next Steps beside the option to learn more about the results and next steps you have to do upon selecting that option)

i. Set-up Time To Live (TTL) on disk storage, no FTP/sFTP Results and Next Steps
ii. Set-up TTL on disk storage and an internal SFTP and FTP (access through port 21 and 22 enabled) Results and Next Steps
iii. Set-up TTL on disk storage and an internal SFTP no FTP (access to port 21 disabled) Results and Next Steps
iv. Set-up TTL on disk storage and an external FTP (external SFTP not supported at the moment) Results and Next Steps

NOTE:  Please see KB Article on FTP Site Type Options | RingCentral Contact Center for more information and the next steps required.  If you require that the call recording be transferred to a storage within the platform at a lower cost, another option is to enable Cloud Storage Services which allow you to set up and manage both active and long-term cloud storage for call recordings, screen recordings, and so forth.  To know if this solution works better for you, please see KB Article on RingCentral Contact Center Cloud Storage Services.  Otherwise proceed to the next step.
