SummaryYou can now answer incoming video calls or meeting invitations on your RingCentral App (Glip). Previously, incoming video calls from the RingCentral App (Glip) used to appear as notifications on your phone, which was easy to miss. How to answer incoming video chat or meeting in CallKit on your RingCentral App - iOS

 

When phone is locked

What you can do

• Tap Remind Me to remind you at a later time that you have received a call.
• Slide to answer.
• When you slide to answer, you can do the following on how to accept the call. 

- Tap the Microphone to Mute/ unmute
- Tap Speaker to switch between Speaker or headset
- Tap Plus to start a new native call 
- Tapping Video or RingCentral will open the active meeting screen.
- Tap the X button to decline the call.

When phone is unlocked

What you can do

• Tap Remind Me to remind you at a later time that you have received a call.
• Tap the X button to decline the call.
• Tapping Accept will automatically launch the active meeting screen.


 

NOTES:


Incoming Calls in Multiple Devices:
• You can decline an incoming call on the current device. This will not impact other devices and still can accept the incoming call.
• You can accept an incoming call on the current device and it will be ignored on other devices.

Incoming Calls to a User without Meeting Permissions:
• The User will only can get a notification and a video call invitation. User can click join to launch RingCentral Meetings - iOS and join the meeting from there. User will be guided to download RingCentral Meetings Mobile App if not installed.

For Users in China Region
• CalKit feature is not supported.
• Users will only can get a notification and a video call invitation.

 

QUICK TIPS:


• You will not receive any incoming call when you turn OFF Video Calls notification. You can go to your RingCentral App -  Web / Desktop, click Preferences > Email & Mobile Notifications, and toggle the button OFF on Video Calls to disable.
• You will not receive any incoming call when you have set your Presence or Status to Do Not Disturb on either RingCentral App Mobile or Web / Desktop.
