Message Storage and Account Data Retention

RingCentral enforces rules for managing account data storage for optimal system performance and reliability. Users have options for backing up data prior to it being deleted according to the enforcement of RingCentral's data storage policy. 

RingCentral Users can view their voicemail, fax messages, and call logs through the RingCentral Online Account, RingCentral Phone for Desktop, and RingCentral Phone for Mobile.

Text Messages (SMS/MMS) can be viewed through the RingCentral Phone for Desktop and RingCentral Phone for Mobile.

The RingCentral Connect Platform offers a family of Cloud APIs and SDKs that integrates voice, SMS, and fax communications, and provides access to communications data. NOTE: When the Inbox has reached the maximum number of messages (200 messages), the system will automatically delete the oldest message so the Inbox can accommodate new messages. Deleted messages are stored in the Deleted folder for 5 days. After which, the deleted messages are permanently removed from RingCentral's system and can no longer be retrieved.

RingCentral Glip• All data will be deleted after 30 days. 
• Invite emails and password reset emails are enabled.
• Glip Today emails and notifications e-mail containing content (conversation posts, at-mention posts, etc) are disabled.


NOTE: Voice and Fax messages are not sent via email notifications. When the Inbox has reached the maximum number of messages (200 messages), the system will automatically delete the oldest message so the Inbox can accommodate new messages. Deleted messages are stored in the Deleted folder for 5 days. After which, the deleted messages are permanently removed from RingCentral's system and can no longer be retrieved.
