Audio

Test your Speaker and Microphone to ensure good quality for Meetings. Use the slider to adjust the volume levels as necessary. If you have additional devices connected to your desktop, use the drop-down menus to choose which speakers and microphone you prefer to use for Meetings.

For Audio Clarity, check the following:

Enable Stereo – Allows Participants to hear stereo voice quality during a meeting.
• Allow option for using original sound from microphone in meeting – The feature allows Participants to preserve the sound from their microphone without using the RingCentral echo-cancellation and audio-enhancing features. This is ideal if a Participant's microphone or sound equipment has these features built-in and do not need the additional enhancement.

NOTE: These features are OFF by default. Account Administrators can enable this feature account-wide and for Users. Account Administrators can go to Tools > Meetings > Meetings Settings > Audio Options and enable Allow users to select stereo audio in their client settings and Allow users to select original sound in their client settings.
