Set Company Business Hours, Timezone and Time Format

 Specify your Company Business Hours

1. Log in as an Administrator to your RingCentral Online Account.

2. Click Phone System.

3. Go to Auto-Receptionist > Company Hours.

4. Under Company Hours, select Custom Hours. Once this is selected, you can specify how incoming calls will be handled when your business is open and when it's closed.

NOTE: Choose 24 hours if your business takes calls 24/7.

5. Once changes have been made, click Save.

Set your Company's Time Zone and Time Format


Setting the correct Timezone ensures that you will not miss any calls when you specify your company's hours of operation. 

1. Log in as an Administrator to your RingCentral Online Account.

2. On the Admin Portal page, click Phone System.

3. Click Auto-Receptionist > Regional Settings.

4. Under Regional Settings, click on the drop-down under Time Zone to select the correct timezone.

5. Set your preferred Time Format. The Time Format you will select will be set as the default for the entire company, unless the User changes their preference in their own extension.

• 12 h (example: 11:00 PM)
• 24 h (
example: 23:00)

6. Once changes have been made, click Save.
