The Outbound Caller ID
feature allows a User to display or block the Caller ID of their phone numbers during outbound calls. NOTE:
Administrators should log in to the RingCentral Online account
then go to My Extension
in order to configure his Presence settings. Check User: Configure Presence Settings
Only Super Admins
, User Admins
, and Users with User Admin access can view and make changes to this section. See User Roles and Permissions
for more information.

Follow the steps below to configure the Presence settings of QAs, Supervisors, or Managers (or anyone who needs to monitor calls).
On the User list
> Users With Extensions
tab, click the User who will be monitoring calls.
In this example, we selected Bob Miller who is a Manager.
Click Outbound Calls/Faxes
Click Caller ID
Select which phone number should be set as the User's Caller ID number for outgoing calls, then click Edit
If you select Toll-Free number or Blocked as your Default Caller ID for any of your endpoints/calling features, you can also select an alternate local number to use in case we detect that your call will not go through.
Select the phone number that should be displayed as the Caller ID, then click Done

Main Sections of the Outbound Caller ID Settings
Choose a number to display when you place outgoing calls from your Desk phone or RingCentral Desktop app (softphone) with a Digital Line.
Choose a number to display when initiating outgoing calls from RingCentral features such as RingOut or Internet fax.
Tick the checkbox to display your extension number when you place an outgoing call within your RingCentral account's Company Directory.
The available features depend on which RingCentral plan your account is subscribed to, and the Role/Permission granted to your User extension by your RingCentral account's Administrator.
