To customize your Voicemail Greeting, go to Messages & Notifications.


NOTE: Administrators should Log in to your RingCentral Online Account then go to My Extension in order to configure his User Greeting. Check the steps below for directions.

Administrators should log in to the RingCentral Online account then go to My Extension in order to configure his User Greeting. 

The Administrator should log in to your RingCentral Online Account and go to the Users section on the Admin Portal.

Users: Adding a Custom Voicemail Greeting for other Users

 

Step 1:

On the User list > Users With Extensions tab, click the User.

Step 2:

Click Messages and Notifications. Select User Hours or After Hours.

Step 3:

Enable Take Messages. You may customize your Voicemail Greeting by clicking Edit.

Step 4:

Set Greeting to Custom. You may record your custom Voicemail Greeting by Phone, Computer Microphone, or by Importing from your Computer.

NOTE:  Import .WAV or .MP3 file with these specifications:

• CCITT u-Law (G711a), 8kHz, 8 bit, mono

• PCM, 8kHz, 16 bit, mono

 

Step 5: 

Preview the customized User Greeting by using the following buttons:

• Click Play to listen to the custom recording.
• Click Re-record to change or replace the custom recording.

Step 6: 

Click Done.
 

Step 7: 

Click Save.
