Outbound Caller ID number on calls from the RingCentral mobile app can only be modified through the app itself. This can be changed anytime and gets applied real-time.

NOTE:  You can only use RingCentral phone numbers assigned to the Auto-Receptionist and directly to the extension you're associated with on the RingCentral mobile app.

This article demonstrates how you can do the following:

Change the Caller ID on your iOS device.
Change the Caller ID on your Android device.


Changing the Caller ID on your iOS device:

Step 1:

Launch the RingCentral Mobile app n your device.

Step 2:

On the top-right, go to My Profile.

Step 3:

Scroll down, and tap Mobile App Settings.

Step 4:

Tap Caller ID.

Step 5:

Select the Number that you wish to use as your Caller ID.

NOTE: If you do not wish to show your number on your outgoing calls, select Blocked.

Changing the Caller ID on your Android device:

Step 1:

Launch the RingCentral Mobile app on your device.

Step 2:

On the top-right, go to My Profile.

Tap your Profile picture.

Step 3:

Scroll down, and tap Mobile App Settings.

Tap Mobile App Settings.

Step 4:

Tap Caller ID.

Tap Caller ID.

Step 5:

Select the Number that you wish to use as your Caller ID.

NOTE: If you do not wish to show your number on your outgoing calls, select Blocked.

Tap a number to use as your Caller ID.
