Sending a Fax can be done using the RingCentral mobile app on your Android or iOS device. You can set a cover page, or attach files from your documents, photos, Dropbox or Box accounts.

Step 1:

Launch the RingCentral mobile app  on your device.

Step 2:

Tap Messages.

Step 3:

Tap All Messages, then tap Fax.

Step 4:

For iOS: Tap the Edit icon and then tap New Fax.For Android: Tap the + icon and then tap New Fax.

Step 5:

Enter the recipient’s number on the To: field.

NOTE:  You can also tap on the RC US Mobile App - New Fax - Add Contacts icon icon to choose a contact from your phone.

Step 6:

TapSelect Cover page button to select your Cover Page.
You can also add a note on your cover page, but this is optional.

NOTE: You need to configure your preferred language setting first. To learn how to change your preferred language on the RingCentral mobile app, check: Changing the Language Settings from English to a Local Language. TapRC US Mobile App - Options - New Fax - Attach File Icon to attach a document you want to include to your Fax. 

Step 7:

Select the source of your document.

NOTE: The file size limit of your attachment is 20 MB. Make sure you authorize the RingCentral mobile app to access Dropbox, and/or Box if you want to attach a file from either or both cloud-based storage.

Step 8:

Tap Send.

Step 9:

Check the status of your outgoing Fax.
For iOS tap: Tap More User-added image > Documents.
For Android: Tap User-added image> Documents.

Step 10:

On the Documents screen, tap Outbox.

Forwarding Fax Messages using the RingCentral mobile app

Tap All Messages, then tap Fax.

Step 4:

For iOS: Tap the Fax message you want to forward.
On the top-right, click the Forward Icon. Select If you want to Share to, Forward as Fax, Print.

For Android: Tap the Fax message you want to forward. 
Click the Email icon if you to want to Forward as Email.Select the platform you want to use to send the Email.

To forward as Fax, click the More icon.Select Forward as Fax.

Share Fax to Other Apps​

While viewing the details of a Fax message, click the Share icon and select which app you want to share the fax.
