The Reply with Message feature on the RingCentral mobile app allows you to reject an incoming call and send a predefined or personal text-to-speech message to your caller. This is done with a tap of a button on the RingCentral mobile app.

Step 1:

With an incoming call, tap Reply with Message.

Step 2:

The following responses are available: 

Predefined messages

You can tap and send a predefined message from the list. The selected message will be announced to your caller, and your caller will be presented with options after hearing your message.

Custom message

You can compose your custom message of up to 200 characters (Numbers and Letters only), and the tap Send. Your custom reply will be announced to your caller, and your caller will be presented with options after hearing your message.

NOTE: When you tap Reply with Message, you have up to 60 seconds to select or type your Custom message. You will be able to see the countdown timer above the list of pre-defined messages. When the time is up and no action message was sent, you caller will be routed to your voicemail.

Caller's options

Your callers will have the following options after hearing your reply message: 

Press 1 - to Repeat the message.
Press 2 - to Leave a voicemail.
Press 3 - to Reply with a "Yes".
Press 4 - to Reply with a "No".
Press 5 - to Reply with "Urgent, Please call immediately".
Press 6 - to Disconnect.
