SummaryHow do I view Presence on RingCentral for desktop?
Presence allows you to view the availability and the status of other extensions/users. The Presence status lets you know if one of your Company contacts is available to take a call or not. 

To set up the Presence feature on the RingCentral desktop app, you must first add the extensions/users to your Favorites list. To do this, follow the steps below:

NOTE:  For non-admin users, selected contact must allow you to view under presence permissions.  However, the user may not allow you if the user is not allowed to configure his/ her presence permission.  For more information, go to User Roles and Permissions.

Step 2:

Go to Favorites.

Step 3:

Click Add Contact User-added image, then select which contacts you would like to add to your favorites by clicking the User-added image beside the contact.  Click Save to finalize changes.

Step 4:

The status of their phone will be displayed as User-added image Available and User-added image Busy. Contacts on Invisible or Offline will be seen as User-added image Offline.
