To reduce issues when installing the RingCentral Desktop app, uninstall first the previous version of the RingCentral Desktop app installed on your computer.
To install the RingCentral Desktop app for Windows, follow the steps below. To know how to install the RingCentral Desktop app for Mac, click here
Hover on Admin Portal and then, click My Extension.
Click Tools > Desktop Apps.
NOTE: The Super Admin has the option to uncheck or restrict the RingCentral Desktop app for a User under the Permissions list.
Click Download for PC.
Download and save the file to your desired location.
Once the download is done, Run the installation file.
Follow the on-screen instructions until the installation is finished.
You have now downloaded and installed the RingCentral Desktop app on your Windows computer.
NOTE: Access levels on the RingCentral Desktop app may vary depending on the Role assigned to a User. If the User does not have the option to download the Desktop app, that means that the User is assigned to a Role with restricted access to the Desktop app. The User must contact the Admin to have permission to download the Desktop app.
