Details
RingCentral for Desktop turns your Windows computer into your personal business command center.  Manage all your business communication from one app – take calls, play voicemails, send text and faxes – anywhere.

System Requirements:

• Windows 7 and 8
• 1GHz (32-bit) or 2GHz (64-bit) processor
• Minimum of 512 MB of memory
• 200 MB of hard drive space

NOTE:  To reduce issues when installing the RingCentral Desktop app, uninstall first the previous version of the RingCentral Desktop app installed on your computer.

To install the RingCentral Desktop app for Windows, follow the steps below.  To know how to install the RingCentral Desktop app for Mac, See Installing RingCentral for Desktop (Mac) for more information.

Step 1:

Hover over Admin Portal, and click My Extension.

Click Tools > Desktop Apps.

NOTE:  The Super Admin has the option to uncheck or restrict the RingCentral Desktop app for a User under the Permissions list. For more information about the different Roles and Permissions, see User Roles and Permissions.

Step 4:

Click Download for PC.

Step 5:

Download and save the file to your desired location.

Step 6:

Once the download is done, Run the installation file.

Step 7:

Follow the on-screen instructions until the installation is finished.

NOTE:  Access levels on the RingCentral for Desktop may vary depending on the Role assigned to a User.  If the User does NOT have the option to download the Desktop app, that means that the User is assigned to a Role with restricted access to the Desktop app.  The User must contact the Admin to have permission to download the Desktop app.
