High-Definition Voice (HD Voice) allows you to establish calls between supported RingCentral devices with high quality voice audio. With HD Voice, you experience:
• Clear conversation with background noise reduction; avoid miscommunication.
• RingCentral uses the OPUS codec with HD Voice which provides a better user experience with more clarity in HD voice, especially in limited bandwidth and network environment.
NOTE: The ability to enable HD Voice is available to RingCentral Office Standard, Premium and Ultimate customers in the US, Canada, and UK.
Follow these instructions to enable HD Voice on your RingCentral Desktop app:
On the right side, click the drop-down menu across Call Quality
, then choose Use high bandwidth
When the Call quality
is set to Use high bandwidth,
the HD Voice Indicator
shows when its enabled on your call.
