Interactive Notifications on the RingCentral mobile app makes responding to an incoming call, text message, retrieving a message from the voice mailbox or returning a call from the lock screen easier.
NOTE: Make sure to enable the RingCentral Mobile app's notifications on your phone's settings.
Android users will see message notifications for new voicemail, text, and fax using push notifications (Google Cloud Messaging).
IMPORTANT: In order for this feature to be functional, it is important for your device to be on Android 6.0 or Marshmallow with Doze or Standby modes enabled. You will be prompted to update your Google Play Service if you have an old version installed. The minimum requirement for Google Cloud Messaging (GCM) is Google Play Service version 8.1.
