Starting a Conference Call or Meeting on RingCentral for Skype for Business

RingCentral for Skype for Business allows you to make and receive RingCentral calls, send and receive SMS texts, initiate RingCentral online meetings and audio conferences.

Starting a Conference Call

Click the Conference button which can be found in the widget at the bottom.

Click the Conference button located at the bottom menu.


You are allowed to enter multiple valid phone numbers to send the conference invite with SMS.

Invite Participants  


• If the selected is a Skype for Business ID, then the Skype for Business message window will be invoked, with the conference invite info displayed; and the mini app Call page will be displayed with the conference dial-in number dialed.

• If the selected is a phone number, then the conference invite will be sent via SMS and the mini app will dial the conference dial-in number.


The invite will read:

NOTE: If you have no access to RingCentral Conference Service, the app will prompt you for not having access to this feature.

Starting a Meeting


1. Click the Meeting button which can be found in the widget at the bottom.

Click the Meeting button located at the bottom menu.


2. Enter the participant/s name/s.

NOTE: You are allowed to enter multiple valid phone numbers to send the conference invite with SMS.

3. Click Invite with Text & Start Meeting.

Click Invite with Text & Start Meeting.


4. Click the invitation link to join the Meeting.
