The RingCentral Salesforce1 Mobile app gives you the modern experience and convenience of accessing your Salesforce account from any device, allowing you to place calls and send SMS from within Salesforce using your mobile device by tapping a contact or an account record.   

NOTE: The latest RingCentral for Salesforce already supports Salesforce1. If your company is already using RingCentral for Salesforce, then there is no extra step required.

IMPORTANT: Refer to the installation guide for instructions on installing the app.

Prerequisites

Salesforce1 Mobile app, available at Google Play Store and iTunes.
RingCentral for Salesforce version 3.4 or later

Logging in to the RingCentral Salesforce1 Mobile app

You can log in to the RingCentral app on HomeAccountsContactsCases, and Solutions tabs.

Step 1:

Open the Salesforce1 app on your mobile device.

Tap Log In.

Salesforce1 - Tap Login.

Step 2:

Tap Allow to authorize the app to access your device.

NOTE: You will only see this screen if you are running the app for the first time. 

Salesforce1 - Allow Access - Tap Allow.

Step 3:

Enter your Salesforce credentials. (Same account where your RingCentral for Salesforce is installed.)

Tap Log In.

Placing Calls from Salesforce1

NOTE: Placing calls from Salesforce1 only work when the RingCentral Mobile app is installed.

Step 1:

Log in to the RingCentral Salesforce1 Mobile app.

Step 2:

Check the details of an account, contact or a lead with phone number/s.

Tap Call with RingCentral.

Tap Call with RingCentral.

Step 3:

Tapping the Call with RingCentral button will redirect you to a page with all the phone numbers of that account/contact/lead listed.

Tap a phone number.

Click on a phone number. 

Step 4:

Select Call with RingCentral.

The phone number will be dialed in your RingCentral mobile app.

Select Call with RingCentral. The phone number will be dialed in your RingCentral mobile app.

The RingCentral Mobile app will automatically launch and dial the phone number for you.

Sending SMS messages from Salesforce1 

RingCentral for Salesforce allows mobile users to send SMS messages directly from Salesforce1 with RingCentral phone systems.  

Step 1:

Log in to the RingCentral Salesforce1 Mobile app.

Step 2:

Check the details of an account, contact or a lead with phone number/s.

Tap SMS with RingCentral.

Tap SMS with RingCentral.
