Once you have configured your RingCentral Rooms in your Online account, you can now set up Rooms on your Mac, Mac Mini or Windows computer.

Setting up RingCentral Rooms on Mac / Mac Mini / Windows

Step 1:

Download and install the RingCentral Rooms app to the Mac / Mac Mini / Windows computer in your conference room setup.

Click Download for Mac to install the app on a Mac or Mac Mini.
Click Download for Windows to install the app on a Windows computer.

Finish the installation.

Click Download for Mac or Windows, then finish the installation.

Step 2:

Launch the RingCentral Rooms app.

Step 3:

Log in with a RingCentral account that has Administrator permissions.
 
Log in with a RingCentral account that has Administrator permissions.

Step 4:

Click the room that was configured for the conference room. 
 
Select the room name you configured for the conference room. 

Step 5:

The RingCentral Rooms splash screen appears.

QUICK TIP: Check Managing RingCentral Rooms using the RingCentral Online account for instructions on how you can upload your own RingCentral Rooms splash screen image. 
 
Once logged in, the RingCentral Rooms splash screen appears.

Step 6:

Move the mouse around until the Exit and Sign Out buttons appear.

Click Exit or Sign Out to quit RingCentral Rooms. Enter the passcode when prompted.

NOTE: Your Mac or Mac Mini may lock or go to Sleep mode during a meeting. Please refer to your device's user guide or support website to learn more about this function.
 
To quit RingCentral Rooms, move the mouse around to see the Exit and Sign Out buttons located at the bottom left of the screen.
 

Setting up RingCentral Rooms on an iPad

IMPORTANT: Make sure your iPad is connected to the same network as the Mac or Mac Mini.

Launch the iPad Controller, then log in with a RingCentral account that has Administrator permissions.
 
You can now start and join meetings with your RingCentral Rooms system. The controls of your RingCentral Rooms system will be on the iPad Controller. See RingCentral Rooms: iPad Controller Overview to learn more.
