Details
With the Australia Media PoP (Point of Presence), RingCentral-provisioned Cisco and Polycom deskphones, desktop and mobile apps will start to access the Australia PoP in a more efficient way to reach RingCentral’s Cloud.

Expected behaviors:
 
Cisco phones will auto-switch to the new route.
• Polycom phones will switch to the new route during the next time they reboot. 
• Desktop apps and mobile apps will automatically switch through Australia Media PoP upon next log in.

New phones delivered to Australia will use the auto-provisioning method to connect to the Australia Media PoP. 

For supported phones, follow the Assisted Provisioning process. During this process, your phones will route their media and connectivity through the Australia Media PoP automatically. See instructions below:

Troubleshooting Tip:

If your phone has lost connectivity, check the physical connection, reboot the desk phone/s or log out from the desktop or mobile app and log in again. You may contact support for more information.
