RingCentral Meetings - Large Meetings Overview

Large Meeting allows a User to host unlimited online conferences with up to 500 participants per meeting. Every Participant in the meeting can have interactive face-time, screen sharing, and group chatting capability. It is available for all Office editions in the US, Canada, and UK.

A purchased Large Meeting license needs to be assigned to a User. Once the Large Meeting license has been assigned to a User, the User can enjoy large marketing and sales meetings with customers, and host unlimited numbers of Large Meetings with up to 300 or 500 participants using RingCentral Meetings.

To remove a Large Meeting License from your account, the Administrator should contact Support

1. How can I purchase a Large Meeting license?

You can purchase a Large Meeting license directly from your RingCentral Online account. Once a Large Meeting license has been purchased, an Administrator can assign it to any User within the company. See RingCentral Meetings - Large Meetings | Purchase and Assign a License to learn how.
 

2. What are the supported RingCentral Plans?

Large Meeting is an available add-on to all RingCentral Office accounts and to RingCentral Meetings Essentials and Advanced accounts. 
 

3. What are the supported RingCentral brands?

Large Meeting is available to RingCentral US, Canada, and UK customers.  
 

4. How many participants can be supported?

Users who have purchased a Large Meeting license can hold a meeting with up to 500 participants.
 

5. Is there a limit to how many Large Meetings can be hosted?

No.
 

6. Should the Large Meeting License always be assigned to the System Administrator?

The Large Meeting license can be assigned to any User in your account. The license is ready to be assigned to any User as soon as the license has been purchased.
 

7. If I purchase one Large Meeting 200 license, will it increase the meeting capacity from 25 to 200 across all Users in our account?

No. The Large Meeting license is a per-User license. One license can only enable one User's meeting capability from 25 to 300. However, there is no limit on how many Large Meeting licenses they can purchase.
 

8. Can a Large Meeting license be shared?

No. It needs to be assigned to a User (Extension). However, an Administrator can unassign the license from a User when the individual no longer needs to host larger meetings. The Administrator can then reassign the license to a different User who has the needs.
 

9. Can I use Large Meetings for my Webinar events?

Large Meetings and Webinars address different customer needs.

A Large Meeting is a many-to-many meeting wherein participants can interact with the other participants using video, audio, screen sharing, and chat within a meeting. There is no additional feature added to their current RingCentral Meetings app — the participant capacity has been increased to meet more people virtually.

A Webinar is a one-to-many meeting wherein participants has limited access. Participants can only do the following actions while on a webinar: listen to the presenter's audio, view what the presenter is sharing, one-to-one chat (Q&A) with presenters, and respond to surveys within a meeting.
