1. What is RingCentral Webinar?

RingCentral Webinar is an add-on for RingCentral Meetings that lets you host virtual events and online trainings with up to 10,000 attendees, joining from desktop, tablet and smart devices. RingCentral Webinar is easy to set up and manage for every online event. It gives you the flexibility to customize with your brands, registrations and email communications.  The intuitive interface and feature-rich host controls empower you to manage your events with ease.  The interactive Q&A, poll and chat optimize audience engagement and user experience to help achieve your business objectives.
 

2. What are the differences between RingCentral Large Meetings and Webinar?

RingCentral Large Meetings and Webinar address different customer needs.

RingCentral Large Meetings is a many-to-many meeting wherein participants can interact with the other participants using video, audio, screen sharing, and chat within a meeting. You can add up to 300 or 500 participants with Large Meetings. See RingCentral Meetings: Hosting Large Meetings to learn more.

RingCentral Webinar is a one-to-many meeting wherein participants have limited access. Participants can only do the following actions while on a webinar: listen to the presenter's audio, view what the presenter is sharing, one-to-one chat (Q&A) with presenters, and respond to surveys within a meeting. However, you can have the liberty to present to 100, 500, 1,0003,000, 5,000 and 10,000 attendees.

With RingCentral Large Meetings add-on, you can have up to 500 hosts or panelists for your RingCentral Webinar.
 

3. How do I get started with RingCentral Webinars?

4. Can I purchase RingCentral Webinar as a stand-alone service?

No. You need to have a RingCentral Office subscription or an Essentials / Advanced tier RingCentral Meetings Account. and the latest version of the RingCentral Meetings for Desktop and Mobile App to take advantage of the RingCentral Webinar add-on.
 

5. What RingCentral Plans are supported?

All (Standard, Premium and Ultimate) Office subscriptions and RingCentral Meetings Accounts (Essentials and Advanced) subscriptions are supported.
 

6. Can a RingCentral Webinar License be shared?

No, however, you can un-assign and reassign your RingCentral Webinar License. A User assigned with the license will be the Webinar owner. See Assigning or Unassigning RingCentral Webinar Licenses.
 

7. How do I delete a RingCentral Webinar License?

You need to call support to have it deleted.
 

8. What are the different attendee counts?

RingCentral Webinar is available for 100, 500, 1,0003,000, 5,000 and 10,000 attendees.
 

9. What is the RingCentral Webinar host limit?  

The RingCentral Webinar host limit is up to 500, with the Large Meetings add-on. By default, without the Large Meetings add-on, Standard has 4Premium has 100, and Ultimate has 200.
 

10. What is the bandwidth required for RingCentral Webinar?  

Recommended bandwidth for Meetings and Webinar Panelists:

• For 1:1 video calling: 600 kbps (up/down) for HQ video and 1.2 Mbps (up/down) for HD video
• For group video calling: 600 kbps/1.2Mbps (up/down) for HQ video. For gallery view: 1.5 Mbps/1.5 Mbps (up/down). 
• For screen sharing only (no video thumbnail): 50-75 kbps
• For screen sharing with  video thumbnail: 50-150 kbps
• For audio VoiP: 60-80 kbps


Recommended bandwidth for Webinar Attendees:

• For 1:1 video calling: 600 kbps (down) for HQ video and 1.2 Mbps (down) for HD video
• For screen sharing only (no video thumbnail): 50-75 kbps (down)

11. How do I schedule a RingCentral Webinar?

You can schedule a RingCentral Webinar with or without registration. See links below to know how:

12. How do I create a registration page for my RingCentral Webinar?

A registration page will be created when you schedule a RingCentral Webinar with Registration. You can also customize the registration page in the Advanced Settings of your scheduled RingCentral Webinar. See RingCentral Webinar Registration Customization to learn more. 
 

13. How do I approve registrants for my RingCentral Webinar?

When you schedule a RingCentral Webinar with Registration, you can manually or automatically approve registrants to join your RingCentral Webinar.  
 

14. How do I add and invite Panelists for my RingCentral Webinar?

You can add and invite Panelists before your RingCentral Webinar starts. Panelists are considered as full participants in the meeting. They can view, send video, share screens, annotate, and etc. Access your scheduled Webinar in your RingCentral Online account and edit the Panelists option under Advanced Settings. From there, you can add and delete panelists anytime before the Webinar starts. Panelists will receive a direct email invitation separate from the Attendees of a Webinar. NOTE:  You can add up to 500 panelists if the Large Meetings add-on is enabled. 
 

15. How do I invite Attendees for my RingCentral Webinar?

You can invite Attendees to register for your RingCentral Webinar event.  Attendees are view-only participants. They will be able to view the active speaker of the meeting as well as the screen share of the meeting when it is being shared. Access your scheduled Webinar in your RingCentral Online account and edit the Invite Attendees option under Advanced Settings.  From there, you can send invites to Attendees.Once Attendees are registered, they will receive an email notification with a unique join link. 16. How do I reply a question posted in my RingCentral Webinar Q&A?

If you are the Host, you will see the Q&A button light up on your Webinar Control Bar. Just click on it and click Open to answer questions. You may choose to Answer Live or Answer by Text. See RingCentral Webinar Question and Answer Feature to learn more.
 

17. How do I set up Polls for my RingCentral Webinar?

You can set up Polls for your RingCentral Webinar. Access your scheduled Webinar in your RingCentral Online account and edit the Polls option under Advanced Settings. From there, you can your Poll questions. You may ask a single answer question or a multiple choice question. See RingCentral Webinar Polling Feature for the detailed instructions.
 

18. How to I generate reports after my RingCentral Webinar?
