Ports

RingCentral Contact Center uses industry-standard protocols and ports. The following outlines the ports needed to access the correct server IP addresses on any client workstation configuration or firewall policy. Open Port Requests are based on which cluster your company resides. US clusters and European clusters all have their own set of ports. Client tenancy will determine which port you need to utilize.

The RingCentral Contact Center software application requires users to reach the RingCentral Contact network at specified IP addresses and port ranges. For most customers, no change is required on their side as RingCentral Contact Center’s software application utilizes standard Web (HTTP) and Secure Web (HTTPS) transactions. The default port number used for Web (HTTP) transactions is port 80. Secure Web transactions (HTTPS) are handled by port 443. Customers using Reports 2.0 will need to ensure port 4747 is also open outbound to the RingCentra Contact Center networks. For clarity, outbound is defined as the customer initiation point to RingCentral Contact Center. Inbound is defined as the RingCentral Contact Center initiation point to the customer site.

NOTE: You cannot run ping/trace routes speed tests to the IP addresses listed. When performing ping and trace route tests, please make sure to use the following:

• speedtest-dal.incontact.com = 207.166.92.15
• speedtest-lax.incontact.com = 207.166.95.55

If you try to ping or trace route to the IPs you put in your browser, you will not get accurate results. It is normal to show packet loss if you go to the IPs you put in your browser.

OPEN PORTS - SIP SERVICES

For all SIP services, port 5060 must be open for inbound/outbound as all SIP Messaging traverses this port. UDP is the default; however the end point can be adjusted to TCP based on preference. TLS/SIP services will utilize TCP port 5061. RTP (Audio) ports are dynamically assigned when a call is established and will draw from the available range of UDP ports: 1024 through the end of the range, 65,535. These RTP ports only need to be open for outbound communication.

NOTE: Hosted VoIP with SRTP w/TLS uses a different port (5061). If using encryption on the soft- phones, you must have this port open.
• For CloudPBX, users need to have sipnat.altevaip.com and sip.altevaip.com.
• For AiTech, it should cover callcps.onvoip.net and callnat.onvoip.net.
• For all hosted VoIP (Broadsoft Platform), it should be covered by the following ranges:

• DAL — 216.20.235.240/28
• LAX — 216.20.237.240/28
• HKO — 205.252.219.240/28

• For all Hosted VoIP (Broadsoft Platform) it should be covered by the following ranges:

• FRA — 216.20.254.0/28
