RingCentral Rooms allow you to share content via Wireless Airplay Mirroring from a MacOS or iOS device. This uses the Airplay bonjour protocol on MacOS/iOS to communicate with your RingCentral Rooms setup.
• Please ensure the following port is enabled on your computer's network or desktop firewall when using iOS screen sharing feature using Airplay.
Initiating Airplay Display on your MacOS
Step 1:
Go to "Airplay Display" at the top right corner of your Apple menu. If it doesn't show, click spotlight search and search "Airplay Display".
Step 2:
Select your RingCentral Room from the list.
Step 3:
Enter the passcode shown on your RingCentral Room's screen.
Step 4:
Your desktop will now show on the RingCentral Room TV display.
Step 5:
Click Disconnect Airplay to exit sharing.
Initiating Airplay Display on your iOS device
Step 1:
Swipe up from the bottom on your device to bring up the menu.
Step 2:
Click on the AirPlay button and select your RingCentral Room.
Step 3:
Enter the passcode shown on your RingCentral Room's screen.
Step 4:
Your iOS device screen will now show on the RingCentral Room TV display.
Step 5:
Click Disconnect Airplay to exit sharing.
Start airplay Sharing manually on Presentation mode
Step 1:
Tap "Presentation" from RingCentral Rooms menu on iPad controller.
Step 2:
Select "Share iPhone/iPad/Mac".
Start airplay Sharing manually during meeting
Start or join a meeting.
Tap on "Share Content" on your iPad controller.
Tap "Share iPhone/iPad/Mac".
