By default, you receive your own voicemail messages. You can configure another User/Extension to receive your voicemail messages instead using this feature. This feature is beneficial when you need to redirect voicemail messages when you are out of the office.
NOTE: This article assumes that you are already logged in into your online account. If not, see Logging in to your RingCentral Online Account to know how.
Go to Settings > Messages & Notifications.
On User Hours
, click Select Extension
under Message Recipient
Select a User to take messages for you, and then click Done
A confirmation window may appear when settings are successfully saved.QUICK TIP:
If you have set custom hours in your business or company, you can also can configure another User/Extension to receive your voicemail messages for your After Hours
. Just click After Hours
