How to disable a Google Chrome Extension or Plugin
Add-ons, extensions or plugins can sometimes cause browser issues and might pose security or compatibility risks. It is a good idea to disable or delete add-ons, extensions or plugins if you suspect they're causing performance, compatibility, or security problems.
1. Click the menu icon on in the top right hand corner of the browser window. The Menu icon looks like a kebab (vertical ellipsis).
2. Go to More tools, then click Extensions.
3. Locate the plugin to be disabled, then toggle the switch to turn it off.
NOTE: You may also click the Remove button to uninstall the extension from your browser.
