How to disable an Internet Explorer Add-on

Add-ons, extensions or plugins can sometimes cause browser issues and might pose security or compatibility risks. It is a good idea to disable or delete add-ons, extensions or plugins if you suspect they're causing performance, compatibility, or security problems.

1. Click on the Menu button (the gear icon) in the top right hand corner of the browser window.

2.  Click Manage add-ons.

3. Under Show, select All add-ons.

4. Click on the add-on that you want to disable, then click on the Disable button. 

5. Click on Close
