Adjusting the Call Volume

If the sound in your handset, headset, or speakerphone is too loud or soft, the call volume can be adjusted while you are on a call.

NOTE: Changing the volume during a call only affects the speaker you are using at a time. For example, when the volume was adjusted when you are using the headset, the handset volume will not be changed.


1. Lift the handset or press the Speaker button.

2. Press (+) on the Volume button to increase the volume or press (-) to decrease the volume. 

3. Press Set or Save.


Using Mute

To mute the phone microphone, speaker, or headset microphone, press the Mute button on the phone.  The button will illuminate red. Press the Mute button again to unmute.

If no audio device is ON, pressing the Mute key has no effect. When switching from the speakerphone to the handset, mute is turned OFF automatically.
