SummaryYou can create different types of speed dials. You can create unused line buttons or create speed dials assigned to a number on your Cisco phone. Each speed dial can be a phone number, an IP address or a URL. You can have up to eight (8) numerical speed dials. Location 1 is reserved for your voicemail. Follow the steps below to know how to create numerical speed dials.

1. Press Setup.

2. Scroll to Speed Dials and press Select.

3. To create or edit a speed dial, select an unused speed dial location.

NOTE:  An unused speed dial location may be marked with Not Assigned.

4. Press Edit.

5. Enter the phone number for the speed dial and then, press Save or ok.

For Cisco SPA525G and SPA525G2, you can enter the name and the phone number for the speed dial. You can also select a contact from the address book by pressing Option and select Select From Address Book. Scroll to choose the contact and press Select.
