Cisco SPA514G, SPA508G, SPA303, SPA525G, SPA525G2 - Using Do Not Disturb (DND)

The Do Not Disturb (DND) feature directs all incoming calls to voicemail or plays a message to the caller informing the user is unavailable when the voicemail is not configured.

For most Cisco phones, the Do-Not-Disturb (DND) option has a dedicated DND soft key button. Press the button to enable or disable the DND option.

NOTE:  For most Cisco phones, if the background is dark or dim, it means that the DND option is enabled. If the background is lit ON, it means that the DND option is disabled. Images may vary depending on your phone model.

You can also enable or disable the DND option through your phone's settings.

1. Press Setup.


2. Go to Preferences.

3. Select Do Not Disturb, then press Edit.

4. Press y/n to change the settings.

5. Press ok.

On Cisco SPA525G and Cisco SPA525G2


1. Press the Setup button and select User Preferences.


2. Select Call Preferences.


3. Scroll to Do Not Disturb.


4. Press the Right Arrow key to turn Do Not Disturb ON or OFF.


5. Press Set.
