A Digital Line allows a user to receive incoming and make outbound calls. There are times when a  Digital Line needs to be assigned to a different extension. This article demonstrates how Account Administrators can assign an existing Digital Line to another extension.

Step 2: 

Under Phone System, click Phones & Devices.

Step 3: 

Under User Phones, select the Digital Line you want to re-assign.

Step 4: 

Click Reassign to.

Click Reassign to.

Step 5: 

Select the extension you need the Digital Line to be assigned to.  

Click Save.

NOTE: 

For RingCentral Desktop App, you need to sign out and sign back in.
• For RingCentral Provided IP phones, the phones should reboot by itself
• For Non - RingCentral IP phones, you need to manually reboot the phones
