The Phones & Devices section allows you to add and assign Desk phones and other devices to users in your account. From this section, Account Administrators can edit or change the Phone number and Emergency Address assigned to a user's device, and adjust its bandwidth usage.
This article shows how Account Administrators can change an existing phone number assigned to a user's Desk phone.
Step 1:

Under the Admin Portal, go to Phone System, and then click Phones & Devices.
Step 3:
Select the User Phone that you wish to configure.
Step 4:
Click Edit Number.

Select Replacing it with a new number.
Set the State/Province and Area Code on the filters provided, and then select your New Phone Number from the list of Available Numbers.
Click Next.
Step 7:
You have 2 choices:

• Keep this number as an additional number $59.88/year (Price doesn't reflect
Select this option if you want to keep this number to use later. This number can be used when adding a new digital line to your account. When you click Next, you will be asked to acknowledge the Order for the additional number (the number you are keeping). You will also see a pop-up window that will ask if you want to Update your Emergency Address. Click Yes if the device will be used in a different location. Click Save.
• Delete this number from my account
Select this option if you want to remove this number from your account. When you click Next, you will also see a pop-up window that will ask if you want to Update your Emergency Address. Click Yes if the device will be used in a different location. Click Save.
Step 6:
Select
Changing it to an existing number, and then select the extension where the New Number is assigned. You can search or use the filter to easily find the phone number.
Click Next.

You have 2 choices:

• Keep this number as an additional number for free
If you would like to keep the current phone number, select this option. You do not need to pay for another line. When you click Next, you will also see a pop-up window that will ask if you want to Update your Emergency Address. Click Yes if the device will be used in a different location. Click Save.
• Delete this number from my account
Select this option if you want to remove this number from your account. When you click Next, you will also see a pop-up window that will ask if you want to Update your Emergency Address. Click Yes if the device will be used in a different location. Click Save.
