RingCentral Business SMS feature enables you to send SMS (Text Messages) using your RingCentral Account. Business SMS also works on your mobile devices, whether be it on Android or iOS (iPhone, iPad).
 
With this feature, you can do the following:
 
    • Send unlimited text messages.
    • Use one business number for voice, fax and text messages.
    • Send to any number and extension with up to 1,000 characters using the RingCentral mobile app.
    • Message colleagues, clients and department groups. Recipients can reply via Business SMS or their native SMS.

IMPORTANT:  For US customers, your voicemail messages may not be delivered automatically to your email as attachments.  This is applicable to accounts with the HIPAA Conduit setting enabled. To enable this, call customer support for assistance.

This article demonstrates how you can delete messages on your RingCentral mobile app, such as Text, Voicemail, and Fax.
But first, you need to open your RingCentral mobile app. Follow the steps below to learn how you can access messages on your iOS or Android device.

Tap Messages.

Using the Select Button on your iOS Device

Step 1:

On the top-right, tap the Delete button.

Step 2:

Select the message/s you want to delete by tapping the checkbox before the message then tap delete on the bottom-left of the screen to delete the selected messages.
 
NOTE: You can select multiple messages. You may also tap Clear on the top-left of the screen to delete all messages.

Using the Select Button on your Android Device

Step 1:

Tap the Select button which is located on top of the screen.
 
Delete  Messages - Select message

Step 2:

Select the message/s you want to delete by tapping the checkbox before the message.
In this example, we will delete the second message.
 
NOTE: You can select multiple messages.

Tap Delete.
 
NOTE: The number after Delete indicates the number of messages which will be deleted.

Step 1:

Left-swipe on the message you want to delete then tap Delete.

Tap the Delete icon.

Select the text message/s you want to delete then tap Delete.
 
NOTE: The number after Delete indicates the number of messages which will be deleted. You may also tap Clear to delete all messages within the conversation.

Tap the Options  Options Icon  icon.
