A Vanity Number is a personalized phone number that corresponds to a distinctive combination of letters on the telephone keypad, such as 1-888-MTRGAGE or 1-888-GARDENS, that is easy to remember.

Log in as an Account administrator to your RingCentral Online account.
Under Phone System, click Phones Numbers.
Under the Company tab, click Add Number.
Choose a toll-free number prefix from the drop-down box.
You may use the * (asterisk) as a wildcard when searching for available numbers.
For example, if you want to find a number that ends with 'SALE', enter ***-SALE.
Enter the Captcha code shown in the image, then click Submit.
Choose your preferred Vanity Number, then click Add Numbers.
• A one-time setup fee will be charged to your account.
• This Vanity number will take approximately 7 days to become active.
NOTE: It's possible that these number(s) may have recently been reserved by someone else, even though they currently show up as available. You will not be charged a set-up fee if we find your chosen number is already taken.
Select where the Vanity Number will be assigned to, then click Next.
NOTE: RingCentral has set limits for the protection of customers from fraudulent activities or over usage. You may get a message saying that you have exceeded the maximum allowed value that can be processed on your account in a single billing cycle. For security purposes, please contact RingCentral Customer Service to verify your Billing Information and request an account limit increase and proceed with your desired transaction.
The Vanity Number will be added to the list of Pending Vanity Numbers in your account and will not be activated right away. Activation takes time since you are either transferring a number from another provider or have requested one that takes a while to activate. We work to make the process as fast as possible, but some carriers have long turnaround times.
Viewing Pending Vanity Numbers
To view your Pending Vanity Numbers, go to Admin Portal > Phone System > Phone Numbers > Transferred and Vanity.
IMPORTANT: A one-time $30 setup fee will be applied to your account after the Vanity Number is activated on your account.
1. What are the things I need to know when I order a Vanity Number?
Vanity numbers are activated within 7 days upon order given that the following requirements are met:
• RingCentral was able to reserve the number for you (A number can be reserved by other carriers as well).
• Your account is in an active and paid Subscription.
• $30 charge will be billed to your account for the Vanity Set up Fee, plus taxes.
2. How do I cancel my Vanity number request?
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and indicate your Vanity Number Request and reason for cancellation.
3. Why do I need to go on a Paid Subscription before my vanity number gets charged and activated?
You will not be able to have the ownership of the number. In order for you to own a particular number, the first thing that is being required is a paid subscription.
