Transferring a call on the RingCentral Phone


1. To transfer a call to another number or extension, click Transfer, and then enter the Extension number of another User in your account, or Phone number of the person where you wish to transfer the call. 
2. You can also click the Plus User-added image sign to select from your list of contacts.
3. You will then be presented with 3 transfer options.

NOTE: When you click Transfer, your call will be placed on hold after you dial the receiving party's number or extension.

Transfer Options

User-added imageWarm Transfer
• You can use this option for transferring calls to a phone number or extension.

• When you click Warm Transfer, you will have the chance to talk to the receiving party. When you are ready to pass the call to the receiving party, you need to click Complete Transfer.
User-added imageBlind Transfer
• You can use this option for transferring calls to a phone number or extension. 

• When you click Blind Transfer, you will not have the chance to talk to the receiving party. The original call will remain on hold until the receiving party answers, or until the call goes to the receiving party's voicemail.  
User-added imageTo Voicemail
• You can use this option to transfer a call directly to the voicemail of another extension in your RingCentral account. 

• When you click To Voicemail, the original call will immediately hear the receiving extension's voicemail greeting, and they can leave a message after the beep.
