Check Another User's Messages in the RingCentral Account

Administrators may need to access and delete the voicemail and/or fax messages of a User in order to prepare the extension for use by another employee. This may happen when an employee left the organization and the extension needs to be reused by another User. 

  1. Log in to the RingCentral account. Click here for more information.
  2. Navigate to Admin Portal > Users > User List > Users with Extensions.
  3. Click the User's number in the Msg. column.

  4. Enter the User's extension password, then click Confirm. If you do not know the extension's password, you can have it reset. See Change Another User's Password on the RingCentral Online Account for the instructions.

The messages of the User will be displayed. You can View the Fax Messagefax icon, or Listen User-added image to the Voicemail. You can also delete, download, forward messages, or mark them as read or unread.
